Account Information

If you create an account or sign in, we may collect:

Scam Analysis Information

When you submit content for scam analysis, the app may process:

• URLs, links, or domains you submit
• Message text you submit
• Scam-related indicators found in submitted content
• Analysis results (risk level, confidence score, explanations, and safety indicators)
• App metadata such as app version, platform, timestamp, and language preference

Community Reports

If you submit a community report, we may collect:

• Reported scam message, URL, or related text
• Report category and risk level
• Optional comments or supporting information
• Submission timestamp and basic app metadata

Basic Technical and Operational Information

To operate and secure the service, we may process:

• Device platform
• App version
• Request timestamps
• Error logs and service diagnostics

Our network and security infrastructure may also process technical connection data (including IP-related network data) for abuse prevention, service reliability, and security monitoring.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Analyze suspicious messages, links, and URLs
• Detect scam patterns and provide safety ratings
• Provide AI-powered scam analysis when you consent
• Provide local scam pattern detection when AI analysis is disabled
• Maintain user accounts and authentication
• Process community reports
• Improve scam detection accuracy
• Protect the app, backend systems, and users from abuse
• Troubleshoot errors and improve app performance
• Comply with legal, security, and App Store requirements

AI Analysis and Third-Party AI Services

Kevlaris AI provides enhanced scam analysis using AI services.

When Enhanced AI Analysis is enabled and you give permission, your submitted message, URL, or related content may be sent to Kevlaris AI servers and then shared with third-party AI providers for analysis.

Third-party AI providers may include:

• OpenRouter
• AI model providers accessed through OpenRouter
• Perplexity / Sonar models for web-search-based analysis, where applicable

The purpose of sharing this data is to generate scam risk assessments, explanations, and safety recommendations.

We do not sell your submitted messages or analysis content.

If You Decline Enhanced AI Analysis

If you decline Enhanced AI Analysis, Kevlaris AI will not send your submitted message content to OpenRouter or other third-party AI providers.

Instead, the app will use Basic Protection Mode. In this mode:

• Scam detection is performed using scam patterns stored on your device
• Your submitted message is checked locally on your device where possible
• Your submitted message is not sent to third-party AI services
• Results may be less detailed than Enhanced AI Analysis

You can enable or disable Enhanced AI Analysis in app settings. If you enable it after declining, the app will ask for permission again before sending content to third-party AI services.

Scam Pattern Data

Kevlaris AI may download scam pattern data to your device. This data may include:

• Known scam domains
• Scam phrases and message templates
• Brand impersonation patterns
• Risk scoring rules
• Public scam advisory information

This data is used to provide local scam detection, especially when Enhanced AI Analysis is disabled.

The scam pattern data does not require your submitted message content to be uploaded to third-party AI services.

Backend and Cloud Services

Kevlaris AI uses secure cloud infrastructure to operate the app, process requests, store account and report information, maintain scam detection data, and protect users from abuse.

Data transmitted to our backend is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Data stored by backend providers is protected using encryption at rest and access controls.

We limit access to production systems and user data to authorized operations only.

Advertising and Analytics

Kevlaris AI may display advertisements or use third-party services to support the app.

Advertising partners may collect or process limited device, advertising, or usage information according to their own privacy policies. Where required, the app will request permission before using tracking features.

We do not provide submitted scam messages to advertising partners.

Account Deletion

If you create an account, you may request deletion of your account from within the app.

When your account is deleted, we will delete or anonymize account information associated with your profile, except where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or legitimate operational purposes.

Local app data may also be cleared by uninstalling the app or using available in-app privacy controls.

Data Retention

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

• Account data is retained while your account remains active.
• Community reports may be retained to improve scam detection and protect other users.
• Scam pattern data may be retained as part of the app's safety database.
• Logs and diagnostic data are retained for operational, security, and troubleshooting purposes.
• Submitted content used for analysis may be cached or stored only as needed to provide and improve the service, unless otherwise stated in the app.

Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including:

• HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit
• Encryption at rest for supported backend storage
• Access controls for backend systems
• Authentication for account-related features
• Limited access to production data

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Links to Third-Party Websites

The app may contain links to third-party websites, public advisories, or external resources.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or policies of third-party websites. You should review their privacy policies separately.

Children's Privacy

Kevlaris AI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at support@nocodebros.net.
